What You Need To Know

RAPID NeuroFascial Reset (NFR), is a neurologically based, active, therapeutic technique that addresses the central nervous system's role in alleviating tension and restrictions within the body. RAPID NFR is an evidence-based manual therapy technique used to quickly and effectively eliminate pain.

Neurological Hypersensitivity

RAPID NFR addresses the body’s perception of threat and danger. By bringing the brain to safety, most painful conditions and range of motion restrictions disappear.

Using the perception or sensation of pain (nociception) and movement, RAPID NFR induces a combination of descending inhibition within the nervous system and a powerful increase in vasodilation (increased blood flow). These together offer near immediate and lasting pain reduction.

Old injuries no moreā€¦

Though many painful conditions appear to have an insidious onset, very often they are a by-product of an old possibly minor injury where, due to unforeseen factors, full healing was impaired.

These areas now contain chronic artifacts of inflammation. The initial healing process of inflammation post injury is now in a stage of being highly sensitizing to the nervous system often causing pain and dysfunction.

By using the manual hands-on techniques of RAPID NFR, we can flush these areas to destroy chronic artifacts. This in turn desensitizes the nervous system thereby leading to decreased pain and restoration of previously impaired movement.

Scars and trauma have a profound effect on the body including autonomic nervous system imbalance.

They create adhesions inside the body which can strain and pull fascia and reduce muscle performance and produce pain and dysfunction.

Using special techniques from RAPID Neurofascial Reset and/or acupuncture principles these adhesions can be released in addition to often dramatically improving the actual appearance of the scar tissue. (Both recent and old surgical and traumatic scars).
